park vintage...what it means

So what is "park vintage" anyways?
It's my two word inspiration.

My daughter's excitement when she sees a park or playground any time we are driving around is something so cute and generates so much happiness for her. I think parks and playgrounds just equal happiness to a kid. And I have a passion for vintage-y looking fabric and pattern that makes no sense, but when put together make an adorable dress...viola! It somehow works and I get that goofy excitement like my daughters staring at a park.

I sew. I have been sewing odd stuff for a while. I finally put my classes, schooling, design vision to the test when I decided to make dresses for my little girl. I just started pouring out ideas. I liked them and so did others...so here I am.

I love to create. Most people give me an idea of what they are looking for and let me take off with it. For wet bags, I usually get a name and color preferences. I love the surprise when they see the end result. Their very own piece of art (functional art, too!). Dresses are fun because I often know the child they are going to...it somehow makes it extra special. Let me know what you are wanting to create, give, or just have to have!
